Written in Gascon (dialect of Occitan mostly spoken in Gascony and Béarn in southwestern France), the song is about the link between Men and Cernunnos, the old celtic god of life and death.
The traditional instruments used are diatonic accordion and the traditionnal three holed whistle, the "flabuta" which are played with one hand, while the rythme is hit by the free hand on a stringed percussion called "tambourin à corde".
The singing techniques are both polyphonic and mongolian throat singing in the chorus.
Hope you enjoy and feel free letting me know !

(ENGLISH)
In the middle of the storm, the child is surprised
The thunderstorm rises, just in time, he finds a shelter
Made of earth and stones.
His eyes full of tears, the child falls asleep
In the morning the storm is over
Leaving behind a disfigured landscape
The house is gone, and so are the stones
Instead a cauldron and offerings
A cauldron, a torc and deep knowledge in the
Cauldron, the cornucopia
A great power, on the animal kingdom
A living god, life and death.
The cernunnos, so beautiful and so proud, he's the
Cernunnos, a child of the earth
The cernunnos, the breath of nature
Cernunnos, half deer, half man

Cernunnos, mitad ciervo, mitad hombre.

I play the Scottish bagpipes and whistles in Skiltron (Folk metal - Argentina)
And the Gasconian bagpipes (called
boha) and the accordion in Boisson Divine (Folk Metal - France).
In my part of France, polyphonic singing is a cultural matter.
I love composing blending different techniques and trying new stuff.

I discovered the band on a random power metal playlist on youtube. The song in the playlist was Sent Pançard, made me open an account on bandcamp to buy the album. wolfwood55
